Bob Segate's widow, Kelly Rizzo, shared her last contact with him, (CNN), In her first television interview since Seagate was found dead in her room in Orlando, Florida on January 9, Rizo spoke to NBC's Hoda Cotab and ABC's TJ Holmes about her husband. The couple got married in 2018. He told "Today" that the storyboard was very happy to be out on the streets again and made people laugh at the current state of the world.

Rizo shared that their last connection was filled with love. He said, "I think I said 'I love you so much' and he said 'I love you so much and then I said 'I can't wait to see you tomorrow.' It was just love."
Rizo echoed this on "Good Morning America" when he last spoke to her on the phone, "She was going home or back to her hotel, and she was telling me what a great show she had, and how great it was really."
"He was happy and loved what he did," she said. "It just made him happy to make people smile."
Seagate met food and travel blogger Rizo via Instagram six years ago and the pair shared a deep and lasting love. She and Kutab break down in tears as Rizzo talks about her husband's return whenever he goes down the street.
Rizzo said he would go to bed at 2 a.m. and get up at 4 a.m. so he had a 6 a.m. flight home.
"She appreciated every second we got together," she said, sobbing. "That's why it's so heartbreaking."
Upon his death, everyone, including fans, gathered around Rizzo. "The bright side of it was an incredible expression of love and support, not only from everyone who loved Bob but from his friends and family," he said. "I don't know how I'm going to get through this now."
Rizo shared memories of her husband - the common theme was how incredibly in love she was with everyone she met and making sure she loved every single one of them.
As sweet as her husband seemed and tried to make everyone feel special, Rizzo said "treat everyone with kindness" with her consistent message.
He was "the best man I've ever known," Widget said. “He was so cute and so sweet and everyone in his life knew that,” said Rizzo. “And even anybody who might suddenly meet him was like, 'Wow, that's such a special guy. "
Rizo is now focused on continuing his legacy, including his work with the Scleroderma Research Foundation.
Segat's sister, a Jay, died of a rare autoimmune disease, and SRF estimates that the organization she's volunteered with for more than 30 years has helped raise more than $26 million to help her find a cure.
"He's had three jobs in his life," Rizzo said. "She was her baby, Comedy and then SRF. She worked tirelessly for over 30 years and tried to find a cure for scleroderma and that's why I can do everything I can to carry on that legacy and help SRF because it's hers and it means so much."
Rizzo told Holmes that her husband seemed to be fine before his death and that his December cowardice was "nothing serious."
The cause of his death is being investigated.
