| Fortnite Update 19.10 Today New Patch Note - January 18, 2022 |
Epic Games released the Fortnite 19.00 update that launched Chapter 3 of Season 1 in early December. Then we had the last big patch of the year, 19.01, which included the Winterfest Christmas event.
Since mid-December, we haven't had a new major update for Fortnight. The Epic Crews came back from a break a few weeks ago, and since then, we received a quick fix update last week that introduces Hurricane and gameplay with flare guns returning from the bunker.
We finally know that a new Fortnite update will be released tomorrow, update 19.10. Here's what we know about upcoming updates, including the initial patch note, when servers are down for maintenance, and more.
The Fortnite Status Twitter account usually confirms an update around 10 PM GMT. However, they confirmed the 19.10 update a long time ago. Servers will be shut down on January 18, 2022, at 4 AM ET. Matchmaking will be disabled thirty minutes before this time, but you will be able to end it if you are playing at that time
We know for a fact that Tilted Towers will be back in the game. Favorite Chapter 1 name location is not in the game from Chapter 1 Season 8 unless you count when it changed to Neo Tilt.
Epic Games tweeted an emoji from the tower with "extra sleep." We already knew it would be added again this season thanks to data miners, but now we have an official confirmation that everyone has been waiting for it, especially as someone who played the game prior to the release of Tilted Tower.
A site called Convert Cavern or Convert Canyon should also be released at 19.10 with Butter Cake Dinosaurs, which we saw as disturbing in many of the images released with the Season 3 Season 3 trailer.
The Grenade Launcher may also return to the game, although it could be a new patch next week instead of the new Fortnite update. There should be three new NPCs on the map, which could be the Spider-Man characters that DataMoney leaked a few weeks ago.
